A Well Deserved Honor for a Teacher Who Goes Above and Beyond
We're excited to continue celebrating amazing educators with our Teacher Appreciation Award! This month, we recognized Chaparral Elementary School’s Ms. Quintana, a dedicated special education teacher who has spent the last 11 years serving special needs students, including the past eight years supporting high-needs students with autism.
Ms. Quintana goes above and beyond to help create an inclusive and supportive environment where every student feels valued and capable of success. From helping non-verbal students communicate through sign language to creating opportunities for meaningful connections with their peers, her dedication has made a lasting impact on countless students and families.
Beyond the classroom, Ms. Quintana serves as the site coordinator for the 21st Century after-school program, helping create the school yearbook, and volunteers at family events. Her passion and commitment to her school community make her truly deserving of this recognition!
It was truly an honor to present Ms. Quintana with a moment of heartfelt recognition along with a commemorative plaque, a $500 check, and an ice cream party with her students in the future. Celebrating educators like her reminds us just how fortunate we are to have passionate role models shaping the next generation of students.
