With the help of Weinburg Elementary school Principal Shirley Mathew, The Husband & Wife Law Team surprised another deserving recipient with their Monthly Teacher Appreciation Award. David Cox’s 3rd grade class was briefly interrupted by attorney Mark Breyer when Mark entered Mr. Cox’s class carrying a giant check in the amount of $250.00. Surprises kept coming… Mr. Cox will also receive the signifying plaque, a feature spot on The Husband and Wife Billboards for a day, and a pizza party for his class. Congratulations Mr. Cox!
David Cox: Weinburg Elementary, Chandler Unified School District, Gilbert
David Cox is December’s recipient because “he has the ability to bring out the best in his students and inspire others with his positive attitude and cheerful smile. Mr. Cox uses the experience he had with the public to help his students overcome obstacles and believe in themselves. He is always willing to take on any assignment. He works well with his fellow team mates and sets a high standard of achievement. If you walk into his classroom you would find him working with a small group of students at his table or teaching a class lesson and the kids would have smiles on their faces and be giving their best efforts. Mr. Cox has taken challenges that other teachers might not have and he has succeeded with his positive attitude and his willingness to connect with families to help his students grow in knowledge, experience, and confidence. David is truly a one of a kind teacher.” As said by Principal, Shirley Mathew’s.
