We are so proud of our partnership with Dignity Health Foundation, which allows us to present Guardian Angel awards to deserving healthcare heroes right here in the Valley of the Sun. Nominees, like Nurse Faith at Chandler Regional Hospital, are recognized by the patients and families they serve every day.
Nurse Faith showed compassion for a patient who was nervous about their upcoming procedure, showing the patient a video about the procedure and what to expect to make them feel more comfortable. This was all done before the doctor showed up to perform the procedure, which helped the patient tremendously and eased their anxious feelings.
The patient nominated Faith for a Guardian Angel award and thanked Faith for “such caring and kind attention” to their needs.
