Celebrating Individuality and Academic Growth in Santa Fe
In Santa Fe this month, we were honored to present Ms. Amy of Acequia Madre Elementary School with The Husband & Wife Law Team’s Teacher Appreciation Award. Ms. Amy was nominated by numerous parents who were deeply moved by what one parent called her "monumental gift of service" and her ability to provide tools for every student to thrive.
Ms. Amy is described by her school community as a fabulous, super-organized educator who possesses the unique ability to meet the diverse instructional needs of every student. Whether working with gifted learners or those who are struggling, she ensures every child is honored and supported in her classroom. As one parent noted, she "meets each student where they are, sees each of their individuality, and celebrates it".
Ms. Amy’s kindness and patience have made a significant impact in a short period of time, with parents reporting that their children have made huge strides under her guidance. This recognition celebrates this dedication to her craft and the incredible environment she creates where students feel both challenged and cared for.
