Crystal and Janell elevate experiences at Dignity Health

Two exceptional nurses, Crystal and Janell from the med-surg floor at Chandler Regional Medical Center, are now officially Guardian Angel Award recipients! Their outstanding care profoundly impacted a patient during a dire time of uncertainty.

During a recent hospitalization, the patient expressed immense gratitude for how both Crystal and Janell embodied the essence of empathy and compassion. These remarkable nurses provided not just physical care but also emotional support that helped the patient get through a challenging time in their life.

Crystal's proactive approach ensured the patient was discharged before Thanksgiving, allowing them to celebrate the holiday at home with loved ones. Janell's attentive nature showed as she understood the patient’s needs even before they were voiced, always checking in, providing needed comfort, and making them feel seen and heard.
