Left-hand turners at a traffic light must wait for cross traffic to clear the intersection before making their turn, even once the light turns from green to yellow. Jana was passing through an intersection and the light turned yellow, but because she was past the point of no return and didn’t have time or space to stop, she had to continue straight through. Unfortunately, the driver facing her in the left turn lane did not wait for Jana to pass through the intersection and initiated his left turn expecting to beat her, and collided violently with Jana’s car.
After being extracted from her vehicle by Gilbert Fire & Rescue, Jana began what would become 15 months of treatment for her neck and spine injuries resulting from the accident. She also suffered from emotional trauma from the incident. We sent flowers to help cheer our client as she navigated her recovery and kept in close contact to ensure she felt our support while our team got to work on delivering Jana’s best possible outcome. We negotiated substantial reductions in her medical liabilities and got her case closed expeditiously so that she could finally move on from what was a traumatic time in her life. Jana was elated when she learned of the amount she would receive even after all of the bills were paid and appreciated how our team supported her recovery and emotional wellness above all.
