Monthly Coach Appreciation Contest

Arizona personal injury attorneys Mark and Alexis Breyer, known as The Husband & Wife Law Team, are big supporters of community sports. They love opportunities to get involved in professional sports, but with eight kids who have amassed an impressive collective resume of playing team and individual sports, their hearts beat for youth sports.

Mark has enjoyed coaching many of his kids’ sports teams over the years, and he’ll be the first one to say that coaching requires commitment, respect for young athletes, and significant time investment in facilitating practices and games week after week.

To acknowledge this extraordinary effort, The Husband & Wife Law Team established the Coach of the Month Award, a monthly recognition designed to highlight the Arizona Youth Football League (AYFL) coaches’ dedication to organizing, teaching, and leading youth teams throughout the league. The program awards one coach each month with $500, including extras such as a commemorative plaque and an ice cream party for their entire team.

Young athletes build essential skills and lasting relationships as they progress under the direction of their coaches, who volunteer their time out of a love of their sport and in supporting the personal and athletic development of their teams. Through encouragement and positive reinforcement, coaches help kids develop self-confidence, discipline, and a spirit of fair play, all qualities that serve them well beyond their athletic endeavors.

By spotlighting these dedicated individuals, the Coach of the Month Contest celebrates their tireless work and the immeasurable difference they make in Arizona’s youth.

Rewarding Coaches for their Extra Efforts

Coaches play a vital role: they meticulously prepare for practices, develop strategies, foster teamwork, and impart valuable life lessons both on and off the field. Their guidance often draws on years of personal experience and a genuine desire to help young people succeed in sports and life. If you know an AYFL coach who goes the extra mile for the benefit of their players, nominate them today for a chance to win!
